Pop-Up For Better Fashion

In today's world, the fashion industry can be overwhelming.

There are tons of brands everywhere but some are doing things differently in order to have a positive impact in the world.

On Saturday May 26th I had the pleasure of going to a pop-up shop in Le Marais, Paris. The pop-up included two brands that have great initiatives. Their clothing brands speak for something deeper. They are extraordinary in the passion they put behind their brands.

The first is Diversité Paris (@diversite.paris). The brand was recently launched by a good friend Charlotte and her brother Philippe.

The concept behind their brand is inclusivity and diversity, of course. They believe in sharing love no matter the shape, size, color, etc. Their keywords are kindness, patience, peace, joy & love. The brand offers a collection of white t'shirts with sewn-on hearts and the world 'love' embroidered in several different languages.

The brand partnered with I Saved the Fish , another brand present at the pop-up, for embroidery.

I Saved the Fish (@isavedthefish) is an extraordinary brand.

The brand's initiative is slow-fashion.

From reworking clothing to giving embroidery jobs to people in Madagascar, the brand has a clear concern for bettering the world.

Founder of I Saved the Fish, Ah, mentioned that her exhaustion from working in fashion environments that are harmful for the planet and people is what led her to launch her own brand that is both humanitarian and an up-cycling initiative.

I left the pop-up store inspired. Fashion does not always have to exist in a traditional production and retail environment.

Brands such as Diversité and I Saved the Fish are two wonderful examples of

brands that do something special for the world around us.

These kinds of brands can provide you with pieces that will last you longer, do not cause harm in the making and help others.
